Dubai is a beautiful city in which to get married. Although it may rain on your wedding day, it’s not likely with only a dozen or so days of rain a year! So to mirror the hope in your heart will be sunshine and lovely surroundings. So far so good, but are you made for each other? If you come to the altar with the thought that you’ll try it out and see how it goes then you are not ‘made for each other’! As part of the preparation for getting married we will ask that you meet with the Chaplain and he will help you think through the step you wish to take.
Marriage is a gift of God in creation and a means of his grace – in marriage we learn more about ourselves and about God. It is one of the most important steps we can take in our lives and the wedding is only the beginning. We want your wedding day to be a very special time and are happy to offer any help or advice that we can. We welcome the opportunity we have been given to marry adults in a Christian ceremony in Church in this country.
Because we come from many different nations and are living in another country the paperwork for Dubai church wedding can occasionally be more complicated than when at home but we will try to help you through the procedures. We are allowed to conduct weddings for Christian couples aged 18 or over but are not allowed to conduct weddings where either partner is a Muslim or who has a Muslim father.

If you do decide that you want to get married at Christ Church Jebel Ali, you will be asked to provide a number of documents but the main one, and one that we need before we pencil a wedding date in the diary, is the Wedding Application form.
